Magima Kids was born from a simple belief: every child is a natural creator, waiting for the right tools and environment to unleash their imagination.

In a world where technology and creativity intersect more than ever before, we saw an opportunity to give young minds the skills and confidence to express themselves through film, animation, and music—mediums that define how we communicate and create today.

We're not just teaching technical skills. We're creating a space where weird ideas become brilliant projects, where collaboration sparks innovation, and where every child learns that their unique perspective matters.

Meet Mr. Daniel

Hi! I'm Mr. Daniel — the founder and teacher behind Magima Kids. I'm a filmmaker and educator who loves inspiring kids to bring their wildest ideas to life through media arts. You'll see me in the classroom each week, guiding students as they imagine, create, and express themselves in exciting new ways.

What to Expect

Every class at Magima Kids is designed to be adventurous, fun, engaging and rewarding from day one.

Before the First Class

✓Review the simple list of what to bring (spoiler: just creativity and excitement!)

First Day Experience

✓Get comfortable in our creative space and meet your classmates
✓Fun ice-breaker activities to get everyone comfortable
✓Introduction to the semester's project—no pressure, just exploration
✓Hands-on time with the tools and technology we'll be using

Typical Class Structure

✓Warm-up activity (10 min) - Review and creative prompt
✓Main creation time (50 min) - Hands-on work, experimentation, collaboration
✓Showcase time (15 min) - Share progress, celebrate wins, give feedback
✓Each class builds on the previous one toward the final project

End of Semester

✓Final project showcase where families are invited to see what students created
✓Digital copies provided whenever available
✓Celebration of growth, creativity, and accomplishments

Current Enrollment

Currently, our classes are only being offered to Mt. Washington Elementary students. We plan to expand to other schools as soon as possible! If you'd like to bring Magima Kids to your school, please contact us.
